The new Rocky River location, on Detroit Road in the city's Beachcliff Plaza, joins Taza Woodmere, which opened in 2005 and Taza Downtown, which opened in 2011.

Taza offers a variety of Lebanese dishes, including a variety of vegetarian options. ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – Taza, A Lebanese Grill, opened its third location Thursday, Feb. 16, at 19310 Detroit Road in Rocky River’s Beachcliff Plaza. The new location joins Taza Woodmere, which opened in 2005 and Taza Downtown, which opened in 2011.

“We’ve been calling both Downtown and the East Side of Cleveland home for over a decade, so it’s safe to say we’re absolutely elated to now add the westside to our list,” Fady Chamoun, owner and founder of Taza, said in an email interview. “We chose this location because it’s in the middle of a bustling neighborhood with shops and restaurants.”

While the Rocky River location will have the same menu as the other locations, the interior is still being shifted. The decor currently reflects the previous restaurant but will change in upcoming weeks to include a design common to the Taza brand. “Taza brings Lebanese hospitality to the table,” says Chamoun. “Guests love our fresh, flavorful menu items and the wide variety.”The signature chicken salad is one of the most popular items. It tops shredded romaine lettuce with grilled chicken tenders, roasted corn, grape tomatoes, dates, red grapes, roasted pine nuts, and feta. Everything is tossed in mango-cilantro dressing. Other favorites are shawarma and shish tawook.

A variety of vegetarian options like vegetable couscous, Lebanese salata, hummus, and baba ganouj are available. Adventurous guests can try Kibbie Nayyeh, a traditional Lebanese delicacy that presents lamb tartare blended with cracked wheat and spices.Taza is part of Seasoned Brands, a restaurant group that also owns Aladdin’s, Boaz Fresh Lebanese and Sittoo’s Lebanese Grill. They also own Forage Public House in Lakewood and The Oak Barrel in Valley View.
