“It’s a pretty fun leaderboard right now with Taylor and I at the top,” Hadwin said, “on Canada Day as well.” “Don’t shoot 63 without a little bit of everything ,” Hadwin said. “I’ve done a really good job of just staying patient this entire week. First two days I didn’t get off to great starts, at least by comparison to the field, and just kind of hung in there, kept trying to hit golf shots, and I finished well both days. So it was nice to get off to a better start today and it just kind of continued.”
The Canadian said he learned a lot by watching Finau attack the course last year: “He was super aggressive all day, so that’s kind of how I’ve been trying to play this whole week: stay aggressive. I’ve never won before, but to be in the final group with a chance to win really cool.”
