CLEVELAND, Ohio-- The 25th Taste of the Browns on Monday, Oct. 2, raised $$350,000 from ticket sales, auctions and donations. That’s up from $270,000 last year.
The need for food services is real in Northeast Ohio, according to the food bank. For the fiscal year ending September 30, the food bank served more than 400,000 people in six Northeast Ohio counties. That’s up significantly from last year’s 343,000 people. Attendees covered a “Get Well” card with recovery wishes for Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb. Chubb suffered a serious left knee injury during the Sept. 19 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is out for the season.
