HGTV shares that the premise of the show -- which is set to premiere in early 2025 -- follows the couples competing to"see who can find, buy, renovate, and flip a house for the biggest financial gain, and the chance at bragging rights."for the former couple to focus on their personal lives and individual shows. Tarek and Christina finalized their divorce in 2018 after very publicly splitting in December 2016. The pair married in 2009 and welcomed two children together, 13-year-old Taylor and 8-year-old Brayden, during their relationship. The announcement of the new show comes just hours after Tarek -- alongside his ex-wife and current partner -- teased something to come in aThe video features Heather and Christina side by side, playfully introducing themselves using each other's names, clad in matching black tops and ripped blue jeans.
"I do wish her the best of luck, but, you know, sometimes in life change can be good for everybody," Tarek later said in a confessional.
