Both Brown and Schmidt will not be ready for the start of the season.

The Tampa Bay Lightning have announced that both center Logan Brown and defenseman Roman Schmidt are out indefinitely with injuries.

Brown, 25, got into 30 games with the St. Louis Blues in the 2022-23 season, where he had two goals, four assists, and six points. He also played two games with the Blues’ AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds, garnering two assists in those games.
