Porsche is back front and center for the film's automotive action, with a 911 Turbo S replacing the Carrera 4S
Will Smith's character, Detective Mike Lowrey, is back in a Porsche for the fourth installment in the franchise. This time, the star car is a 992-generation Porsche 911 Turbo S. The first film's 964-generation 911 Turbo also makes an appearance. By all accounts, the fourth installment in the Bad Boys franchise has been an unmitigated success. It has pushed the franchise past the $1 billion threshold, making $79.24 million worldwide at the time of writing.
There's one more fitting cameo behind the wheel , but we won't spoil that for you if you haven't seen the film yet. Of course, the original movie didn't have the same budget as its sequels, which is why the car you see in the 1995 movie actually belonged to director Michael Bay. Bay's personal vehicle was used to keep costs down but fit perfectly with the Miami cop vibe.
