EV snowmobile maker\u0027s costs rise as Taiga ramps up production to fill thousands of back orders
Taiga Motors said it delivered 96 electric recreational vehicles in the most recent quarter, up from 51 in the previous quarter, making a small dent in its backlog of 3,185 pre-orders., the LaSalle, Que.-based maker of electric snowmobiles and jet skis, said revenue jumped to $1.7 million in the first quarter from essentially nothing a year ago, boosting the upstart company’s efforts to ramp up production and rebound from a tough year in 2022.
