A 57-year-old Sutton man died in a rollover early Thursday after he failed to navigate a bend in North Jonesville Mine Road, Alaska State Troopers said
PALMER -- A 57-year-old Sutton man died in a single-vehicle rollover early Thursday after he failed to navigate a bend in North Jonesville Mine Road and struck a driveway embankment, Alaska State TroopersEmergency responders found William Kompkoff dead in a Toyota Tundra on its roof in a ditch, troopers said. The crash was reported at 12:30 a.m.
Initial investigation showed that Kompkoff was alone in the pickup when he missed the turn, entered the ditch and struck the embankment, causing the truck to roll before coming to rest on its roof, they said.
