Police said the suspects were masked during the break-ins, which took place at an unspecified business on Cowichan Lake Road
Lake Cowichan RCMP say they have identified two suspects and recovered stolen property related to a series of break-and-enters during the summer.A search warrant carried out in August on Neva Road, followed by a second search warrant Oct. 3 on Quamichan Avenue, led to the stolen property and additional evidence being found, police said.
Lake Cowichan is a small town, powered by small businesses,” said Const. Brian Smith. “When our businesses are targeted, it’s felt by the whole community. We’re thankful to those community members who have come forward with information, which has allowed us to move this investigation forward. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Lake Cowichan RCMP at 250-749-6668.
