Falls Township police responded to a shooting at Viewpoint Lane shortly before 9 a.m. Andre Gordon, 26, broke into the house and shot and killed three family members, including his 52-year-old stepmother, Karen Gordon, and his 13-year-old sister, Kera Gordon, Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn confirmed toMultiple others, including a minor, were inside the home and hiding.
The suspected gunman then allegedly carjacked a man outside a Dollar General on Bristol Pike in Morrisville and drove the stolen vehicle to New Jersey. He was found in the state at 11:38 a.m., and barricaded himself with hostages at a home in Trenton. New Jersey law enforcement officials toldthe residents inside the home have been evacuated and are now safe. SWAT team members were on scene as of Saturday afternoon.
“The suspect is believed to be in a house on Phillips Ave in Trenton,” Trenton Police Detective Lt. Lisette Rios said. “The residents have been successfully evacuated with no injuries. At this time FBI resources are on standby while the ATF, NJSP, Mercer County Rapid Response Team and Mercer County Homicide Task Force are also on scene with the Trenton Police Department.
