The Supreme Court said it would consider whether the Biden administration has the power to end the Trump-era “Remain in Mexico” policy
WASHINGTON—The Supreme Court said Friday it would consider whether the Biden administration has the power to end athat denies asylum applicants from Central America entry to the U.S. while their cases are pending.
Lower courts have blocked the administration from ending the Migrant Protection Protocols, often called the “Remain in Mexico” policy, finding that the Department of Homeland Security didn’t follow required procedures to end the program.
