Boxing Day is usually a big time for retailers, but quite a few have made the decision to keep their doors closed this year to allow staff members time to spend with their loved ones.
For many major stores, this will be the third consecutive year that their doors will have remained closed on Boxing Day after making the same decision in 2020 and 2021 during the pandemic. Iceland Iceland has confirmed that all stores across the country will be closed on Boxing Day this year to give its staff a well-deserved break.
