Edgewell said it hasn't received any reports of adverse events and noted that benzene is in the environment and humans are exposed to it regularly from multiple sources. Consumers with questions can call Edgewell at 1-888-686-3988 Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern Time. Information is also available online at www.bananaboat.com. Consumers should contact their physician or health care provider if they have any questions, concerns or have experienced any problems related to using these aerosol sunscreen products.

Consumers can also report any adverse reactions or quality problems to the FDA's MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting program either online, by regular mail or by fax. For regular mail or fax: Download form or call 1- 800-332-1088 to request a reporting form, then complete and return to the address on the pre-addressed form, or submit by fax to 1-800-FDA-0178.
