The National Weather Service has issued a warning for severe thunderstorms on Sunday for much of Pennsylvania.

The Harrisburg area is expected to see potentially severe thunderstorms Sunday, according to the National Weather Service, after which mostly sunny and clear conditions will set in for the rest of the week as fall weather continues to creep in to Central Pennsylvania.for Sunday covering much of Pennsylvania, citing possible gusty winds and hail during periods of serious precipitation.

Sunday’s high temperature of 75 degrees is also expected to be the warmest of the week, according to the NWS, with daily highs dropping into the 60s by Tuesday and staying there for the rest of the week along with mostly sunny and clear skies.A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. Some of the storms could be severe. High near 75. Light and variable wind becoming southwest 5 to 9 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
