Sunday Riley Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream Saved My Summer Skin— Review
My only regrets in life include the times I've drunk coffee and gotten sunburns. Besides the fact that my body can't handle caffeine, I'm the child of a skin cancer survivor. Slathering myself with sunscreen has been routine for most of my life, in hopes of avoiding the same plight my mom has faced several times. However, I recently found myself in the middle of the Caribbean Sea for two days straight.
I'm sure Sunday Riley herself didn't envision for one of the first people to use the Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream to rub it on their shoulders before their face, but I like to defy expectations. For a day or two after my boating excursion, I covered my face and shoulders with the stuff at least three times a day to keep my skin from becoming as flaky as a Supermoon Bakehouse croissant. It worked quickly to nourish my skin and bring it back to homeostasis.
Even though the moisturizer has an icing-like thickness in its tub, it quickly melts into skin like a thick serum. Belize was incredibly hot, so I was grateful that the cream felt lightweight on my skin. Now that my sunburn has healed, however, I prefer to only use it at night because it has a slight heftiness to it that doesn't play well with foundation.
The formula's inclusion of ceramides is a major reason why the moisturizer was so crucial for my regrettable skin situation. For those unfamiliar,naturally occur in skin to help moisturize it.
