Brandon Peterson, former pitmaster of the lauded Bandit BBQ, is back in business with a burger and hot dog concept called Summer Camp.
He's joined by wife-and-husband team Blakely and Coleman Kneisley as business partners in the new venture.
Summer Camp currently serves a menu of burgers — very similar to the smashburger-style patties that earned a legion of followers at Bandit BBQ — hot dogs dressed Coney Island-style with mustard, chili and cheese and other sandwiches along with a lineup of playful cocktails with names such as Old Trailhead , Hot Pants Margarita and the Happy Camper .
