Sudbury man was charged with several counts related to accessing, possesing and distributing child sexual abuse materials
The Greater Sudbury Police have arrested and charged a 68-year-old man in Sudbury for possession and distribution of child sexual abuse materials.
On April 12, the Greater Sudbury Police Service Internet Child Exploitation and Computer Forensics Units executed a search warrant at a residence in Greater Sudbury. As a result of the investigation, the man was arrested and charged with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada:The Greater Sudbury Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit is part of the Ontario Provincial Strategy to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the Internet.
