BBC Strictly fans slam schedule switch after 'school night' semi-final
It's Monday morning, but Strictly Come Dancing fans are still waiting to find out which celebrities have reached the grand final of the BBC competition. In a Strictly first, the semi-final live show took place last night after the show was again moved from its usual Saturday night timeslot because of the BBC's World Cup coverage.
Remaining contestants Molly Rainford, Hamza Yassin, Helen Skelton, Fleur East and Will Mellor each performed two routines with their professional partners as they put their best foot forward to earn a place in the final. However, some viewers were thrown off their rhythm by the disruption to the programme schedule, with some bemoaning the main show airing on a "school night", reports Manchester Evening News.
