High winds, heavy rains, and lightning caused damage on Tuesday as storms ramped up across North Texas.

The North Texas Food Bank will kick off its inaugural Kids Camp next week - KRLD NewsIt's a one day camp for kids ages 8 thru 11 where they'll learn about the food bank, hunger and nutrition. The kids will also learn about food insecurity, how to fight hunger and giving back. Campers will spend part of their day filling backpacks with nutritious, kid-friendly food for elementary and middle school students who need the additional food during the summer months.
