Among the damage was at Midtown Scholar Bookstore, where the glass front of the store was knocked out by winds and hail. Owner Eric Papenfuse wasAlex Brubaker, bookstore program director, said about 50 books were damaged. He also said good Samaritans came and helped clean up the store. Another tree was reported to be down on Third and Herr streets. Other trees were down around the city.according to The BurgHarrisburg Bureau of Fire received 25 calls for service in the hour after the storm, according to city spokesperson Matt Maisel. He said there are many electrical hazards with downed lines, which city public works and fire is working to clean up. Maisel said no injuries have been reported as a consequence of the storm.
