Shares of Viking Therapeutics Inc. VKTX, -0.37% rallied nearly 11% following early clinical study data showing its drug candidate lowered liver fat levels in patients.United Airlines Holdings Inc. UAL, +1.49% shares dropped more than 5% after the airline warned of lower profits in the fourth quarter due to higher fuel costs and the ongoing Hamas-Israel war.
Shares of J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. JBHT, -0.39% fell 4% as the trucking and transportation-services provider reported third-quarter results that missed Wall Street’s expectations. Terex Corp. shares TEX, +0.43% dipped 3% as the crane and construction equipment company’s hiked outlook fell short of Wall Street’s forecasts.
Shares in Interactive Brokers Group Inc. IBKR, +0.61% lost nearly 3% after the firm posted its third-quarter results on Tuesday. ASML Holding N.V. ASML, +0.80% shares dropped 2% after the Dutch semiconductor-equipment maker said it expected its revenues will remain flat in 2024.
