A man and a woman led Alabama State Troopers on a chase through two counties Wednesday morning before crashing. The driver, a Georgia man, will be jailed after he is released from a Montgomery hospital.
Two people were injured when a chase involving Alabama State Troopers ended in a crash in central Alabama Wednesday morning.
During the stop, the drive fled the scene and a chase ensued until the Ford crashed on U.S. 331 in Montgomery County. Burkett identified the driver as Russell E. Boner, 47, of Columbus, Ga. The passenger is identified as 47-year-old Tammie Hartz-Mullin, also from Georgia.
