The victim, a 79-year-old woman, reported that a man forced his way into her home after she answered a knock at the door during the overnight hours on Tuesday.
ASPERS, Pa. — State Police are investigating an alleged burglary and sexual assault case in Adams County.The incident occurred during the overnight hours of Monday and Tuesday on the 1300 block of Center Mills Road in Menhallen Township, police said. The victim reported that a man forced his way into her residence after she answered a knock at the door.
Police stated that evidence suggests the suspect sexually assaulted the victim and rummaged through the victim's property. The victim was transported to Gettysburg Hospital for medical treatment and was subsequently discharged without serious injury.
