From TV greats to musical royalty, 2023 has gotten off to a rocky start with a number of beloved stars from across the entertainment industry sadly losing their lives
the first few months of the year have already been littered with loss, with many fans around the world left heartbroken by the passing of their favourite stars.
Yet even in death, their memory continues to live on, with their illustrious careers still touching the hearts of many fans around the globe. Here, we take a closer look back at some of the high-profile figures who have sadly passed away this year.Legendary rock guitarist Jeff Beck sadly passed away on January 10th at the age of 78 after he had contracted bacterial meningitis. Despite the best efforts of medics to help beat the infection, they were sadly unsuccessful. Jeff died “peacefully” his family confirmed.
Best known for playing the guitar as a replacement for Eric Clapton in the Yardbirds back in the 1970s, Jeff later went on to form his own band, the Jeff Beck Group, and was frequently known for his long running collaborations with Rod Stewart.
