The annual Christmas concerts are scheduled for Dec. 14 through 16 at the LDS Conference Center in Salt Lake City.
Mack Wilberg, the choir’s music director, said the choir was “delighted to have the talents of Michael Malaikel and Lesley Nicol at this year’s Christmas concerts. Together they will bring the holiday spirit into the hearts of our audiences through music and word celebrating the joy that is found in family and the celebration of the Savior’s birth.
Admission is open to those eight years old and older. The number of tickets will be limited, because of the continued construction in and around Temple Square. The Choir has its own recording label and will release the CD and DVD versions of last year’s Christmas concert, both entitledA Grammy Award-winning, multiple Emmy Award-winning, all-volunteer choral ensemble, The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square is made up of 360 men and women who join their talents to create their trademark, instantly recognizable sound.
