The Stars are leading the league in the overtime loss category. Is there something play-style about that or is it the randomness of playing three-on-three?“No, there’s nothing - it used to be a little bit more random. Honestly, it used to be a little bit more fun, but now there’s kind of more systems to [playing three-on-three]. You definitely want a lot more puck possession, it’s a little less chance on one end, chance on the other end.
“I don’t wear a shirt underneath for games, but I always just change the tape on my two sticks I’m using pretty much that night. Change the clear tape on my socks sometimes, but that’s it. “I go through a new pair of skates every three games, but then you always have a backup in case something happens to your skates. Then I’ll have two sticks ready to go each game and then I’ll have two sets of gloves on rotation. I’ll swap them out like every 10 minutes for commercial, just to have dry hands. And then gear-wise, that’s pretty much it, one set of everything else.”“It’s fine, it’s kind of just normal business.
“I’m close with my agent, but as far as like talking to my agent about hockey or whatever, we check in every couple of months, maybe? But I think I’m a little different in that, as far as [I] just how the contract is set up and as far as like, how I could get traded. Some guys, you know, guys that are talking about maybe getting traded or know what’s coming, I’m sure they’re talking to their agent every day.
