Summary Starfield players have long questioned why one of the game's most valuable commodities can't be crafted but one fan took it upon themselves to fix the strange problem with an excellently simple mod. As adventurers explore the galaxy, they'll need to contend with all kinds of enemies, and more often than not, some kind of gun is the best way of dealing with them.
The Starfield community is still perplexed by the fact that Bethesda opted to not include an option for players to craft their own ammo. The mechanic is present in some of the developer's other games like Fallout 4 and Fallout 76, leading many to believe it was cut from the sci-fi RPG or never considered a necessary feature.
It's worth noting that there are a few ways to maximize ammo collection even further, the most obvious method being leveling the Scavenging skill to Level 2. This results in players being able to find more ammo when searching containers and, fortunately, it's fairly simple to earn. To unlock it, all one needs to do is loot 75 different containers, and considering how many of them are scattered around the world, this challenge can be completed with relative ease.
