Summary A new Star Wars fan theory suggests there may be a shocking Imperial spy in Andor that went undetected by everyone—including by Cassian Andor himself. Andor is one of Star Wars' best TV shows, and the upcoming season 2 is among the most anticipated of Star Wars' upcoming TV shows.
If this Star Wars fan theory is correct, then it proves the Empire's genius; after all, not only would such a droid never be suspected of acting as an informant, but also, this droid's role would give it discreet access to information that a living, breathing informant could never get.
Since the prequel trilogy, Star Wars also revealed that Darth Vader's Imperial Inquisitors also played a key role in the Empire, although the Inquisitors' job was much more focused on hunting down and executing any survivors of Order 66 or new Force-sensitive beings in the galaxy than it was on helping the Empire gain and maintain control of the various planets of the galaxy. However, this fan theory raises questions about how much the Empire may have relied upon droids.
