Stampeders Notes: Mike Rose set to go even bigger CFL
Rose is very much already on the map of anyone who pays attention to the CFL, and the Stamps will be thrilled if he can replicate the type of year he had in 2022 when he picked up seven sacks and 25 tackles.“What I like about Mike is feel like he’s really matured, he’s got a young family now,” Stamps GM/head coach Dave Dickenson said. “He’s always been good, and you talk about a guy who has basically done the hard job. It’s all part of the CFL’s new rule allowing nationalized Americans. It’s incredibly confusing and something that the league and the CFLPA should absolutely take some time to provide clarity on so that fans can better understand it. Basically, though, they can play up to 23 plays in a game and qualify as Canadians for those plays.
