RCMP responded to a report that the man poured gasoline on a neighbour's property
RCMP has arrested a 39-year-old man from St. Stephen, N.B., following an investigation into threats in the community. - FileSaltWire's Atlantic regional weather forecast for August 17, 2023 | SaltWireST. STEPHEN, N.B. — Mounties arrested a St. Stephen, N.B., man who police allege poured gasoline on his neighbour's property and threatened to burn a house down on Aug. 12.
St. Stephen RCMP officers and firefighters responded to the home, but the man had taken off before emergency crews arrived. Just before midnight, officers found and arrested Jason David Embleton, 39, at a business in the community. Embleton appeared in Saint John provincial court on Aug. 13 by tele-remand and was charged with mischief.
