THUNDER BAY — A school project of baked goods, snacks and other treats helped raise money for the Canadian Mental Health Association.
Grade 11 student Cassidy told TBnewswatch that, in hindsight, she and her group likely wouldn't have changed anything. In addition to doing a class project and crunching numbers, the profits that were made by the market sales were donated to the Thunder Bay branch. Dan Sabbe, the senior manager of finance and business operations, noted that the money would help fund some of their programs.
