A Spring man says thousands of dollars worth of holiday gifts were stolen from his vehicle after he was followed home from the Galleria Mall on Black Friday.

Shoppers in the Galleria Mall on Black Friday. The case is the latest in a trend called"jugging," which authorities say happens when thieves follow potential victims, often from banks to the person’s home.

“We had gone to some higher-end luxury stores and bought several thousand dollars of goods,” the man said in a KPRC Channel 2 report. “The back window was completely smashed. All the bags were stolen.”
