The Ferrari Daytona is one of Maranello’s cherished V12 classics, but it certainly isn’t cheap. For much less, though, you can own an adorable Daytona Junior Car that is going up at auction., the car is powered by a 110cc air-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine that makes 5 kW at 8,500 rpm and 4.8 lb-ft of torque at 6,500 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed sequential gearbox that has no clutch but does have a reverse gear.
It’s all capable of propelling the little car up to a top speed of 45 km/h , though the manufacturer will fit a restrictor if you don’t want your kids going that fast.It sits on a jig-built steel box section chassis that is painted and powder-coated and supports a fiberglass body and floor pan. The suspension, meanwhile, is fully independent and features steel swing arms with adjustable gas shock absorbers all around and double wishbones at the front.
