Neighbours have described how the busy road used as rat run
People on a Colwick road where the boundary walls of two homes were destroyed in a crash say that speed bumps are needed to stop more accidents. Nottinghamshire Police issued a warning after issuing pictures showing significant damage to a car and a van following the collision on Chaworth Road at around 2pm on Monday .
A woman who lives in one of the homes that had its boundary wall smashed in Monday's crash, who did not want to be named, said: "I was out the back of the house when it happened. I heard this big thud and ran out here and saw what had happened. "There is so much traffic down the road and there are always parked cars which makes it difficult to see where you are going. They should do something about it."
"It's been bad for a while now. It can often be very dangerous and we could end up with a really serious accident if something isn't done."
