Warning from southribblebc about calls relating to a loft insulation scam doing the rounds in the borough 🏘️
No plans for low traffic neighbourhood in South Ribble
A spokesperson for the Council said: “We have been made aware of a scam that is currently circulating around the borough. “This scam is in relation to individuals calling residents claiming their loft insulation isn’t safe and needs to be replaced.“We can confirm this isn’t the case and would never contact you regarding an issue with safety in this way or without verification that we are from the Council.“There is no issues with mineral wool used for loft insultation and is still widely used as it meets building regulations.
