New coach hopes Minutemaids become regular contenders in Tri-Co, South Jersey

The senior led the Minutemaids with 12 goals a year ago, but her 2024 season will be delayed as she recovers from an injury. The program has a new head coach in David Heil.David Heil had hoped to join the Washington Township girls soccer program for the 2024 season. He just didn’t expect be leading it.
With the freshman and jayvee coaching positions open for the upcoming season, Heil applied for both, but when head coach Katie Sachs stepped down near the end of the 2023-2024 school year after accepting an administrative position in the South Harrison School District, Heil was instead offered the top job.
