South Holland police are investigating the shooting death of a 21-year-old man outside a gas station Sunday in that village.
South Holland police said Wednesday they are being assisted with an investigation of a shooting Sunday afternoon at a gas station that left a 21-year-old man dead.
The medical examiner’s office said the victim lived in the 16800 block of Prince Drive in South Holland, while South Holland police in a news release Wednesday said Jones lived in Chicago. South Holland police said they were called at about 5 p.m. Sunday for a shooting at a BP gas station, 951 E. 162nd St.Jones was pronounced dead shortly before 5:30 p.m. at the scene, according to the medical examiner.
