South Africa's political parties hold their campaign rallies ahead of Wednesday's election

Supporters of South African main opposition party Democratic Alliance parade on motorbikes and wave South African national flags during the final presidential election campaign rally of the DA at the Dobsonville Stadium, in Soweto, Johannesburg, on May 4, 2019, ahead of May 8th legislative and presidential elections.

"I am angry that the very people who were elected to lead us ended up stealing from us," DA leader Mmusi Maimane told supporters at a rally in the Soweto township of Johannesburg on Saturday. "And what's most offensive is that they stole from the poor." Ramaphosa is expected to make his final appeal to voters on Sunday. And so will the leader of the opposition EFF, Julius Malema, who by some measures has gained ground among voters with populist calls to seize white-owned land without compensation and nationalise mines and banks.
