UPDATE: Sources say the man wanted for a slashing in Brooklyn on Saturday is also responsible for a fatal stabbing in another building an hour later. KristieKNews has the latest.
Brooklyn City Councilman Lincoln Restler said the 83-year-old and his alleged attacker lived in Wyckoff Gardens.
"As of the last time I spoke with the police department earlier today, they know who he is. They know where he lives and I hope he will be apprehended soon," Restler said. An employee at nearby Wyckoff Gardens Deli said the man police are looking for grew up in the NYCHA building. "My mother babysat him when he was a baby. I can't believe it because I don't see him as that type of person," James Dudley said."To me, an angel," a man named Freddy said of Cintron.Police are offering a reward of up to $3,500 for information leading to an arrest.
