Help people in need by teaming up with coworkers, friends, family to serve Wednesday dinners
If you’ve been looking for a way to help people in need in the community, St. Vincent Place says it has the perfect opportunity.
Each meal that is served in the soup kitchen is planned, purchased, prepared, and served by one of the volunteer teams. "Nothing fancy is needed, just a hearty meal to help fill the bellies of those in need," organizers said. As long as you have at least five or six like-minded people, you can form a soup kitchen team, the organization said.
