'Next on the schedule this spring and summer will be restoring the old storefronts, replacing doors, and repairing bricks in the auditorium,' Soo Theatre Executive Director Colleen Arbic said
SAULT STE. MARIE MICH - The Soo Theatre's fully restored 1940 marquee made its grand debut in January, returning this month to brighten Ashmun Street once again.
All were joined by Sault Ste Marie Convention & Visitors Bureau staff, Sault Area Chamber of Commerce members, Justin Knepper of Knepper Development Strategies, and Soo Theatre Executive Director Colleen Arbic. It was Arbic who cut the scarlet ribbon in front of her community. She pointed to a list of donors on the building's exterior, thanking each and every one for their continued support. But it this theatre project is far from over.
