Sony is finally talking about its next-gen PlayStation, which may or may not be PS5. And it looks like something to behold.
Practically nothing has leaked out about Sony’s plans for its next generation PlayStation to date, and now, the company has offered the first details about its new console freely. The first information has, who talked to Sony’s Mark Cerny and was given an exclusive demo of the new console’s capabilities recently, though much about the system remains under wraps.
The CPU is based on the third gen of AMD’s Ryzen line, while the GPU is a variant of the Radeon Navi family. The console will support 8K, but that is far away from mainstream adoption at the moment, so the demos shown were in 4K
