One year after 39-year-old vanished, Sault Police are again asking the public for clues — and Garden River First Nation has put up a $25K reward for information about the case
One year after Jake Corbiere disappeared, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service and Garden River First Nation are working together to help solve the mystery of the missing 39-year-old.
“Over the last year investigators have followed every lead that has come forward,” Sault Police Chief Hugh Stevenson said in a news release issued today. “We have conducted several grid searches, consulted financial records, and spoken with people in the community, without success. Somebody out there knows something about Jake, and we urge them to come forward.”
“Jake’s family, friends, and our entire community are eager to find him,” Garden River First Nation Chief Karen Bell said in today's news release. “It is our hope, by offering this reward, someone comes forward to provide crucial information so we can bring Jake home.”
