Ohio social worker Payton Shires was assigned to counsel a 13-year-old boy.
The 24-year-old allegedly admitted to her sickening behaviour during a phone call with the boy’s mother, who confronted her. Columbus Police detectives were listening in on the call.
When the mother showed her son’s phone to cops, they allegedly found videos of illicit sexual contact between the pair and texts.When cops confronted the boy, he admitted to having sex with Shires on at least two occasions in September. Shires was arrested on Friday — her 24th birthday — after allegedly confessing her lewd behaviour with the boy. She is being held on $500,000 bond.
“The National Youth Advocate Program is saddened by the situation involving one of our former employees and a young person served by our organization,’’ the organization said in a statement.
