Former President Donald Trump's former attorney Jenna Ellis won support online after her smiling mug shot went viral.
While the media got ahold of her mug shot Wednesday after she was the last defendant in the Fulton County, Georgia, election interference case to surrender that day, and the ninth of 19, Ellis posted the photo herself on X, formerly known as Twitter. Ellis captioned the photo with a scripture verse to explain why she smiled while in the Fulton County Sheriff's custody.

Ellis is currently fundraising toward her legal defense fund on the Christian site GiveSendGo. As of Thursday she had over $127,000 raised, which is more than half of her current goal. Meanwhile, fellow defendant John Eastman has raised over $500,000 on the same site.
