The Mustangs are 9-3 and will be going for their seventh win in a row when they head to Tulsa on Wednesday for their American Athletic Conference opener. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the game will be aired on ESPN+. The other hope for SMU has been that the Mustangs could return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2017. Conference play will be pivotal for those hopes.
