As for his wife Camilla, only 21% support the title of Queen for her, 19% support Queen Consort ,while 60% say “she should not be referred to as ‘Queen.’” As for the May 6 coronation, 41% say they don’t care about it, only 9% are highly anticipating it, 20% are likely to tune in, and 29% will be reading recaps.The study also found 52% of Canadians don’t want Canada to continue as a constitutional monarchy forever.
Conducted online April 10-12, the poll results are based on replies from a representative randomized sample of 2,013 Canadian adults who are members of Angus Reid Forum and considered accurate within 2%, 19 times out of 20.
