It’s something we started last year, being aggressive, fronting shots, making sure we take care of our net first, then have the freedom to attack.”
Bur Girard scored into an empty net with 78 seconds left in the game — her second of the game, set up again by Marchment. The two combined for 63 points in the regular season, with Marchment second only to Boston’s Loren Gabel and Girard tied for third with Boston’s Jillian Dempsey.
