This is where the hotbeds of election denial and voter paranoia are going on. And I’m wondering, can Trump really get involved in that? Is he just gonna keep tripling down on this and trying to push that as a way to animate his popularity with the base? I can see different directions this could be going.
But even if Republicans gain a little edge, they’re not gonna have the power they thought they were. Where does that leavein his investigations? He now has more political wind in his back than he might have otherwise.Well, I’ve always been skeptical that he would pull the trigger on an indictment. Just temperamentally, somebody who positions themselves to be on the Supreme Court, as he did when Obama was president, is so careerist. And I don’t say that negatively. I just mean they’re cautious.
Now, I could be totally wrong, of course, but I just think the fact that he’s moved this slowly shows that he’s agonizing over this decision.But I just don’t see a world…Look,in New York is gonna go forward with her case. I just don’t see a world where Merrick Garland is able to ignore the document case.
