After previously poking fun at Ethan Hawke's use of Mandarin in MoonKnight, Simu Liu takes to social media to praise the MCU series.
Simu Liu is praising Moon Knight after recently criticizing Ethan Hawke's use of Mandarin in the show. Created by Jeremy Slater and based on the popular comics character of the same name, Moon Knight is the sixth television project produced by Marvel Studios to be released on Disney+, having premiered back on March 30.
The second episode of Moon Knight, titled"Summon the Suit," revealed just how expansive the Disciples of Ammit is when police officers delivered Steven Grant to Harrow and a community fully comprised of members. Grant first noticed what was occurring when pleading for help from a character named Jamila, who showed him her tattoo, that of a balance scale, the same as Harrow's.
Fans still seem to be enjoying Moon Knight as new episodes come out and Liu's praise for the show indicates that his previous jab was not meant to be overly critical. As the series progresses, it will be interesting to see just how vast the Disciples of Ammit really is and if any other cultural representations within the community are handled differently. With only three more episodes of Moon Knight left, fans can look forward to seeing what becomes of Harrow and the cult in the end.
